I’m not a fan of reviews but I feel I must with this experience. I came to interstate transmission Which it was “highly recommended” from other established respectable auto shops that said my classic car issues might be a little to much for them but to call Interstate Transmission & Automotive Center.
So I did, and explained my challenging issue with my classic 72 Cutlass and from the start to the finish Mr. “RON” and “JEREMIAH” were extremely professional, accurate about the process and steps they will follow. They exercised good communication and people skills with me during the process. I called often and they kept me updated and had patience. They not only found the problem but corrected it in a timely manner. I’ve had many classic cars and been to all these mechanic shops but hands down this shop was the best. Keep in mind you pay for the quality of work and skillful knowledge that the professional shops have. If you want honest work with skill,experience and knowledge this is the place 👌.

My Go To Auto Repair Place

Fast Efficient Auto Repairs
I have been miserable driving around town with my AC not working. I didn’t want to take it to a shop because I was afraid that the problem was going to be bigger than it was.. Ron, the owner, was super friendly and helpful. He knew I had to get to work and was able to recharge my AC quickly. I was in and out in less than an hour. Not to mention, the price was decent! 10 out of 10 recommended!

A-Rated Customer Service
I have been trusting my vehicles to Interstate for years. They 1st earned my business, by being honest with me about work that I thought was needed, and was willing to pay for, but they told me different, and I ended up paying nothing. Any shop that will be honest enough to turn down profit for the better interest of their customers, is considered A rated in my book.

Can’t say enough great things about Ron, his family and his quality of work!
We we pulling our 45’ fifth wheel camper from Texas to California and 120 miles from our destination our transmission went out in Modesto, CA on a Sunday afternoon. We were lucky enough to have called Ron first who not only answered on a Sunday afternoon, but let us have the truck towed to his shop and Ron brought his personal truck to tow our camper to his shop and let us stay there for the night.
Monday morning, he had the transmission our of the truck and torn down with full diagnostics by 9:00 am.
Finding out we needed a full rebuild, Ron pulled our camper another 40 minutes away to get us setup at a local campsite.
Ron expedited the rebuild finding all the non stock parts needed to rebuild my already custom transmission and I had full confidence in his work after meeting his team and listening to them discuss the build.
When the truck was ready a few days later, Ron drove the truck to the campsite to pick me up saving me from having to Uber to the shop.
Truck was perfect after the rebuild and we safely made it to our destination in California and all the way home (1800 miles) to Texas without any issues.
Highly recommend Ron and his team for any work you may need.

Very Helpful
We brought our 2000 ford expedition in for what we thought would be at transmission replacement. Had it at two other shops and told we needed to replace it. Took it in to Insterstate, thinking we were going to pay $4,300.00 for the work. After they looked it over all it needed was a new computer. Out the door $832.00

Quality Transmission Shop
After dealing with shops that wanted to overcharge, we found Interstate Transmission to have the best price for our transmission rebuild. Jeremy was easy to communicate with and all about customer service! We have been back for other issues and Jeremy has always been nothing but kind and transparent. Honest
These guys are so great I’ve been going there for years but this time they really saved me I’m traveling across the US and broke down in Texas after the guys in Texas tried to swindle me into a new transmission I called the owner of Interstate to confirm what they were saying and of course they were trying to take advantage of me. He literally walked me through it step-by-step on the phone and we are back on the road. Thank you so much interstate.

I went in to have my Ford F150 checked and I couldn’t have asked for better service! They checked it out and did some research to find out my problem had a factory extended warranty, so instead of fixing it and costing me quite a bit of money he called me up and let me know so I could take it to the dealership and have it fixed for free! They didn’t even charge a diagnostic fee. They were quick and friendly, I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know or anyone who is looking for a stand up shop you can trust. Thank you guys!

Highly Recommend To Anybody
I had a transmission failure on my classic car. Had it towed to a shop that wanted to charge me over 3K and it would have taken a month. A friend of mine told me about Ron and his shop (Interstate Transmission Center) and recommended it. Glad I did! He had it done in 3 days, reduced the cost to about half, and warranties his work. Due to my busy schedule, he even met me to pick up my car late at night well past closing hours. Car is shifting great and running strong! Would highly recommend to anybody. If something goes wrong again with any of my cars, he has a repeat customer!

Honest, Hardworking, Quick Turnaround
I took my 2006 Chevy Silverado in for a transmission that lost 3rd and 4th gear. They went through at my request and upgraded known weak points on the 4L60. I got less than 100,000 miles out of the original transmission and with the repair I am over 469,000 miles and no problems. That is more than 3 times the life of the factory transmission. I look forward to doing business with them again. Honest, hardworking, quick turn around and they stand behind their work.

Customer For 20 Years
I have been taking my vehicles there for years, this is the only place I trust . Always friendly service. There has been multiple times over the last 20 years where other shops tried to tell me my transmission was shot and I needed a new one but Interstate was able to repair it for hundreds as opposed to thousands. That means a lot to me.

Beyond helpful and amazing!

Much Appreciated
My friends went there to get the tail section of their Turbo 400 rebuild. They got ’em right in even in the afternoon, and only charged for a hour service. The rear mount was totally gone from all the fluid leaks so they put a new one on for just the cost of the part which was only $15. No more vibrations from the worn tail shaft. Thanks guys.

Very Happy With This Shop
Very happy with this shop. My Husband and I needed somewhere to take our Jeep. He typically does any work himself, but we were in a pinch and needed a ton of things done before a Hollister Run we signed up for. We called Interstate Transmission Center on a weekend to get their hours. They answered the phone!! On a Sunday!! The man, Ron (?) was very nice...answered every single one of our questions honestly and accurately. We dropped the Jeep off that night and he got to work on it the next day. He was very open with us as far as the pricing and made sure the Jeep was done for us to haul it that weekend.
It’s rare to find an honest mechanic, but I’m sure we found one!

Honest, Quick, Reliable
Honest, quick, reliable. My old truck was spewing transmission fluid everywhere You could literally follow the trail! These guys got me going the same day, great price, best of all, did not have to miss a day of work. I have a pretty big mouth, and will be telling people about how good these guys are.

Amazing Service
This place was amazing and treated my vehicle like it was one of their own. I was having transmission problems and after asking them to rebuild it and it not working, they kept trying everything they could do to make my car run like it was new. FInally, we decided to just order a whole new transmission, but my car was there for almost 2 months [poor guys] and they were very patient with us calling quite often and trying various different things to fix the problems. I would definitely suggest these guys.
